SpecSeal LC

SpecSeal® LC Sealant is a latex-based, high solids firestop compound. This material, when properly installed, will effectively seal penetration openings and joints against the spread of fire, smoke, hot gasses and water. SpecSeal® LC Sealant is engineered to adhere well to virtually all construction surfaces and may be applied using a standard caulk gun or by troweling with a standard mason’s trowel or with a putty knife.

SpecSeal LCI

SpecSeal® LCI Sealant is a versatile and economical intumescent sealant that has excellent caulking properties as well as high build properties on vertical or overhead surfaces. SpecSeal® LCI Sealant has a broad application base designed to seal a wide variety of common penetrations, including combustible penetrations, as well as construction joints.

SpecSeal SIL

SpecSeal® SIL Silicone Firestop Sealant is a one-part, neutral-curing silicone sealant exhibiting superior performance in applications where sealing openings in walls and floors are needed to control the spread of fire, smoke, toxic gasses, and water during fire conditions. Specseal SIL is available in either non-sag or self-leveling consistencies.

Designed for use with non-combustible through penetrations as well as construction joints.

SpecSeal AS200

SpecSeal® AS200 Elastomeric Spray is designed primarily for the protection of construction joints, curtain wall safing gaps, and certain through-penetrations. SpecSeal® AS200 Elastomeric Spray in conjunction with appropriate backing materials has been tested in one, two, three and four hour joints tested in accordance with ASTM E1966 (ANSI/UL2079), ASTM E814 (ANSI/UL1479) and CAN/ULC S115.

SpecSeal Fast Tack Firestop Spray

Fast Tack Firestop Spray is the ultimate in weather resistant firestop sprays. Fast Tack’s hybrid copolymer formula was developed to counter the stalling effects of weather while providing unmatched washout resistance and the industry’s fastest tack free times. Fast Tack outperforms and outlasts all competing firestop coatings providing the most versatile protection on the market.

SpecSeal Fast Tack Firestop Spray dries rapidly and cures in the presence of atmospheric moisture to form a durable, flexible, water-resistant shield against the propagation of fire, smoke and combustion byproducts.

SpecSeal ES Elastomeric Sealant

SpecSeal® ES Elastomeric Sealant is a non-halogenated latex-based, highly elastomeric caulk designed to provide passive smoke and fire protection in construction joints. This material is also designed to restore sound attenuation properties to sound-rated ceilings and partitions. SpecSeal® ES Elastomeric Sealant is designed primarily for the protection of construction joints.

SpecSeal SSP Putty

SpecSeal® SSP Putty is a non-hardening, intumescent compound designed to seal through-penetrations as well as certain membrane penetrations (med-gas valve box, tub & shower valve, clean-out tee) against the spread of fire, smoke and hot gasses. SpecSeal® Putty expands up to eight times its original size when exposed to high temperatures or flames.

SpecSeal Series SSC Collar

The SpecSeal® Series SSC Collar is a factory-manufactured device designed to protect plastic pipes penetrating fire-rated walls and floors. Utilizing a heavy gauge galvanized metal collar to house a molded intumescent insert, the SpecSeal® Series SSC Firestop Collar is specifically sized to fit 1-1/2 in (38 mm) up to 4 in (102 mm) trade sized pipes. When exposed to temperatures in excess of 320°F (160°C), the SpecSeal® Series SSC Collar’s molded insert begins to expand (intumesce) rapidly to form a dense, highly insulative char. Its free expansion ranges from 32x to 64x original (pre-expanded) volume. Expansion continues up to 1,000°F (538°C).

SpecSeal SSW Wrap Strips

SpecSeal® Wrap Strips are highly flexible, elastomeric strips designed to firestop combustible penetrations in fire-rated floors, floor/ceilings, and walls. Convenient 12 ft (3.7 m) rolls, or individually sized strips facilitate installation and minimize waste. These products utilize STI’s fast responding intumescent technology, providing very responsive and highly directionalized expansion. Rapid expansion provides quick closure for burning combustible penetrants.

EZ Path Series

The EZ Path® Series 44+ Fire Rated Pathway is a pathway device designed to allow cables to penetrate fire-rated walls and floors without the need for firestopping. This device features a built-in fire and smoke sealing system that automatically adjusts to the amount of cables installed. Once installed in a fire barrier, cables can be easily added or removed at any time without the need to remove or reinstall firestopping materials.

SpecSeal SSB Firestop Pillows

SpecSeal® Firestop Pillows are through-penetration firestop products resembling small cushions or soft bricks. These intumescent and highly resilient pillows are installed in openings by compressing and stacking into the opening in a brick-like fashion. SpecSeal® Firestop Pillows consist of a mineral fiber core material sealed with a water-resistant intumescent membrane. This coated core material is then heat-sealed in a tough, nonirritating, fire-retardant poly bag.

SpecSeal CS Composite Sheet

SpecSeal® Composite Sheet is a lightweight, rigid fire-resistant panel consisting of an intumescent layer bonded to a galvanized steel sheet reinforced with steel wire mesh covered with aluminum foil. SpecSeal® Composite Sheet is designed to seal medium to large size openings with a variety of different penetrants in both fire-resistance rated floors and walls When exposed to temperatures in excess of 350°F (177°C), SpecSeal® Composite Sheet expands minimum 15x to form a dense insulative char that minimizes heat transfer.

SpecSeal SSM Firestop Mortar

SpecSeal® Firestop Mortar is an economical, light-weight Portland cement-based firestop product. This passive (non-intumescent) material utilizes a combination of heat sinking and insulating properties to provide an extremely high level of fire resistance. SpecSeal® Firestop Mortar mixes with water to form a non-shrinking, high yield mortar that may be applied by pouring, pumping, or troweling.

SpeedFlex SFJP Joint Profile

SpeedFlex® Joint Profile is a high temperature fibrous joint forming material for use in top of wall construction joints. When installed with an approved SpecSeal® firestop coating, the profile allows for economical installations and up to 100-percent compression and extension in joint movement.
